UPDATE 1-Sport-UK Sport announces plans to host decade of sporting events

UK Sport said on Wednesday that holding the 2030 World Cup in Britain would be a "crowning achievement" to bookend a decade of sport that includes plans to host the Ryder Cup, the world athletics championships and the grand departs of the three major cycling tours.
